There goes the neighborhood..

would have been the title of this blog entry had our diligent Los Angeles Fire Department not put out this mother of a brush fire in the hills today. This was approximately 1 mile from our house, but damn, it looked as though the sky was falling today. The fire situated itself in the hills above Warner Brothers Studio Lot and Universal Studios. From the pictures, you can see how close the Hollywood sign was to its demise.
